Photo 101 - Spring 2004
I took my first photo class in the spring of 2004. It was just for fun; I didn't expect to continue in the study of photography. I didn't think my parents would pay for me to study photography. So when my Photo 101 teacher asked me if I was going to continue on, I said probably not. He said that would be a shame and that I should keep taking classes to see how my work develops. So I thought to myself, why not? I asked my parents, and they told me that I should study what I wanted to. I took Digital 101, Photo II and then my last semester at The College of Southern Maryland, my teacher asked me if I would be one of the six students he needed to create a Photo 103. Before I knew it, I had spent my first two years in college studying and loving photography.
